Fn First Holdings LLC ("Fn First," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Chrome extension Render View for Azure DevOps (the "Extension") handles information when you use it.
This policy applies only to the Extension. Other Fn First websites, apps, and services are governed by the main Fn First Privacy Policy unless otherwise stated.
Render View for Azure DevOps adds a "Render" tab to Azure DevOps file pages for .html and .htm files. When you choose to render a file, the Extension fetches the currently viewed HTML file from Azure DevOps using your existing browser session and renders it locally in your browser inside a sandboxed extension page.
The Extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft or Azure DevOps.
To provide its core feature, the Extension may access or process the following information locally in your browser:
The Extension does not read, collect, or store your Azure DevOps password, authentication cookies, personal access tokens, or other login credentials. Authentication is handled by your browser and Azure DevOps.
Fn First does not collect, store, transmit, sell, rent, or share any Azure DevOps file content, repository data, browsing history, credentials, analytics data, or usage data through the Extension.
The Extension does not use remote analytics, advertising trackers, telemetry, or behavioral profiling.
If you contact Fn First for support, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, support request, screenshots, or troubleshooting details. Support communications are handled under the main Fn First Privacy Policy.
Information accessed by the Extension is used only to provide the Extension's single purpose: rendering the currently viewed Azure DevOps HTML file in your browser.
Specifically, the Extension uses the current Azure DevOps page URL and file path to request the raw HTML file from Azure DevOps, prepare it for display, and render it locally.
Fn First does not use Extension-handled information for advertising, profiling, sale, resale, credit decisions, marketing, or unrelated analytics.
Fn First does not receive or share Azure DevOps file contents or repository data through the Extension.
When the Extension requests a file from Azure DevOps, that request is made by your browser to Azure DevOps or related Microsoft-operated domains using your existing session. Those services are governed by Microsoft's own privacy and security practices.
If the HTML file you render references external resources, your browser may request those resources from their original locations. Fn First does not control those third-party resources and does not receive those requests.
We may disclose support-related information only as described in the main Fn First Privacy Policy, such as when required by law, to respond to your request, to protect security, or as part of a business transfer.
The Extension does not create a Fn First account, does not maintain a server-side profile, and does not store Azure DevOps file contents on Fn First servers.
Rendered content exists only temporarily in your browser while you use the Extension. Closing the rendered view, tab, or browser session removes the active rendered page from view.
Support communications, if you contact us, may be retained as described in the main Fn First Privacy Policy.
The Extension is designed to minimize data handling. It requests access only to Azure DevOps and related Microsoft proxy domains needed to provide the rendering feature.
Rendered HTML is displayed inside a sandboxed extension page to help isolate it from the Azure DevOps page. The Extension does not intentionally transmit user data to Fn First servers.
Requests to Azure DevOps are made over HTTPS using your browser's existing authenticated session.
The Extension's use of information received from Chrome extension APIs and permissions adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
The Extension uses data accessed through its permissions only to provide or improve its single user-facing purpose: rendering Azure DevOps HTML files selected by the user. Fn First does not sell, transfer, or use this data for personalized advertising, retargeting, interest-based advertising, credit-worthiness determinations, or unrelated purposes.
Fn First does not allow humans to read Azure DevOps file content through the Extension, except if you voluntarily provide specific information to us for support, legal, or security purposes.
The Extension is intended for professional and developer use and is not directed to children under 16. Fn First does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Extension.
Because the Extension does not collect or store personal data through Fn First servers, Fn First generally does not have Extension data to access, correct, export, or delete.
If you contact us for support or otherwise provide personal information directly to Fn First, you may request access, correction, deletion, or other applicable privacy rights as described in the main Fn First Privacy Policy.
You may stop the Extension from accessing Azure DevOps pages at any time by disabling or uninstalling the Extension in Chrome.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Extension, legal requirements, or Chrome Web Store policies. When we update it, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above.
